mimi magazine, which has a meaning of “nice taste” in chinese character (beautiful ‘mi(美)’, taste ‘mi(味)’), concentrates on little value that can be found around our normal life. We set a theme based on the basic food materials and make those to a variety of contents such as essay, column, drawing and you name it. Also, we interview some people who are involved in the theme and talk about how we use and how to make a ‘little but valuable’ something from the theme.
* Mimi magazine was published as/by ‘Sandwich paper’ at first, then from the October of 2018, it changed to current name after working together with ‘GhostBooks’.

아름다울 '미(美)', 맛 '미(味)'자의 '좋은 맛' 이란 뜻을 가진 <미미 매거진>은 일상의 ‘좋은 맛’을 찾아가는 생활 문화 잡지(반년간)입니다. 우리는 삶의 가장 기본이 되는 식재료에서 주제를 정해, 그것과 얽힌 이야기들을 글/그림/사진 등의 분야에서 활동하는 작가들의 다양한 관점을 통해 풀어내고, 그것을 매개로 동시대를 함께 살아가는 이들의 삶 속으로 들어가 그들의 이야기를 전달합니다.
‘미미 매거진’은 대구를 기반으로 활동하고 있는 독립서점&소규모출판사인 고스트북스와 일러스트레이션을 기반으로 프린팅 제품을 만드는 샌드위치페이퍼가 함께 기획합니다.
* 미미 매거진은 (구)샌드위치페이퍼 잡지로 발행되었다가 2018년 10월부터 '미미 매거진'으로 변경되었습니다.
